It has been almost a year since I said that I would write one post per day. Oh, no. it was actually in 2012, I accepted a challenge, called 30 Days Meme Song. A challenge that dared me to write about 30 posts about different songs with each topic every day. And I didn’t finish it. Back to December 2013, I set a goal to write a post every day , and I didn’t finish it as well. And now, the time has come again, it’s time to challenge myself to do it again.
Recently, I read a post from Quora, “How Should a 24-year-old Invest Time?” It was a mind blowing post. In the post, written by Rizwan Aseem, he wrote, write every day. And it’s like reawakening me again to write a post every single day.
The only way to bring your thoughts to reality is to write them down.
If you don’t write them down, they will be lost to the electric impulses inside your brain.
If you have a problem. Write it down. You will be able to come up with the solution better, once you’ve written down the problem.
If you crush on someone. Write it down. Write down the things that you like about that person, how it makes you feel, what you would do for them.
All these things when written down will help clarify your thoughts about love and life, about right and wrong.
Those were some lines in Rizwan’s post. Like I said before, it was reawakening me again. My motivation to write regularly. Cause, basically,
The better you write, the better you think.
(also written in Rizwan’s post)
I will not care about what people will think about my post. Because sometimes, the writer’s problem (writer’s block) is he/she always think what people will say about his/her writing. I know that many people made mistakes by posting s*** on their blog or whatsoever, the thing that I should avoid. However, I don’t want to create some restrictions on my mind before I write any post. Though, in case I make a s*** post, at least I make it better, well-refined, people say.
